Brunston Castle Golf Course is a 6700 yard parkland course set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The course is also split by the Water of Girvan and lined with mature trees. The superb clubhouse, which commands spectacular views over the course, has full dining and bar facilities and there is also a floodlit, covered driving range.

The course at Largs Golf Club is rather unusual in that although it is situated on the coast, it has all the features of a fine inland parkland course. Whilst not being a long course at just over 6100 yards, it calls for a lot of thought to plot one's way round the course, ideally by positioning the ball to make the next shot a little easier.

Prestwick St. Cuthberts has no fewer than nine doglegs, accuracy in positioning from the tee is as important as length. The greens are cunningly sloped and players would do well to watch out for features like the little upslopes designed to stop the ball at the front of at least six of the putting surfaces. Almost as many others are two tiered giving plenty of food for thought for those who play.

Prestwick St. Nicholas Golf Club, established in 1851, is right at the heart of a wonderful golfing area in Ayrshire. With a sense of history and tradition, and commanding beautiful views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran in the West and Ailsa Craig in the South, golfing at St. Nicholas is an experience not to be missed.
